Is it possible?

I am a recovering alcoholic (4 years in Sept.) My desire for years has been to become an addictions counselor. Now that I have been sober for a while, the desire has truned into an obsession ( close anyway ) It is a goal that I will reach. The problem is that I have a very low credit score and no way can I get a loan for the ” Continueing Education” certificate course I am applying for at WSC, in MA. Is there an organization that will loan me the money or pay for the class? The total cost is $3500. I know it doesn’t sound like much, but I am obviously in debt up to my eyeballs. Pay a little at a time to all the outstanding debts I collected through my drunken years. I am living from paycheck to paycheck. I have a good job with decent pay, and have left enough room to pay for the loan on installments. Any grants I have looked into do not cover “Continueing Education” courses. Is there something or someone out there that can help me?
