Is it possible to cancel my Credit Inform service on a capital one card?
I’ve heard capital one won’t delete this charge but if I call credit inform (866-226-3745) will they stop their service so I don’t have to pay for it in the future, or am I stuck with this payment every month? I hate capital one but I don’t want to cancel my card because I heard it reflects poorly on your credit score.
just call their customer service and tell them you want to cancel it. write down the date and time of the call along with who you talked to just incase they charge you next month as well. sometimes they don’t follow through with what they say they will do.

I think you can cancel anything you don’t want on any credit card. I didn’t like Capital One either but cancelled it inspite of the fact it made my score go down. After a while, I pulled it up again and after canceling Cap It Alone Credit card, I’ve pulled my credit score up to 750 inspite of it.
I hate Cap it alone too. I think they screw their customers because they are going bankrupt and they are desperate. For a while there, I thought I was the only one. I have never had a credit card that hit me with so many unexpected, unjust and irrefutable charges. Dump ‘em! PAY THEM OFF and in six months you’ll have your score high enough to get another credit card with a good interest rate.
You don’t need another credit card to build credit - shred you’re credit cards, pay off debt like crazy - & save so you can pay cash for everything. Don’t buy anything you can’t pay cash for (house is the only exception). Check out Dave Ramsey
