Kotak Mahindra Capital Company, Enam Securities, JM Financial Consultants and UBS Securities India are the book-running lead managers to the Future Capital IPO. Reports also say that Lehman Brothers and Och-Ziff Capital have agreed to invest US$200mn in Future Capital for the latter’s hotel projects in India. The objects of the issue are to achieve the benefits of listing on the stock exchanges and to augment capital base to meet the future capital requirements and for other general corporate purposes. Future Capital expects to utilise capital raised through this Issue primarily for the expansion of retail financial services business, in particular, the growth of the loan portfolio. Learn more
