if you don’t pay them back, yes you can. you wrote them bad checks. but don’t hide from your mistake, this only makes it worse…contact them and let them know a firm date that they can expect their funds…if they have to come looking for you, or they can’t contact you, they are going to be less willing to work with you…and as you have already realized, payday loans are for emergency situations only,and the interest rates alone are enough to get you further into debt than whatever you borrowed for. they don’t want your money, they want their money that you used and promised to pay back, and they would rather have this than you being in jail, but they will prosecute if you don’t do the right thing! and when you get this dealt with, make sure you pay off your bank and get a receipt showing ‘paid in full’ because you will probably be reported to e-funds (used to be chexsystems), and this will make it hard to open a bank account anywhere. you want proof that you did satisfy your obligation to your bank.

no u wont go to jail its a loan it should answer that in your agreement but it will hit your credit report after 30 days and be reported to chex systems and it will be hard for u to open another bank account just tell them when they call ur situation they should work with u a little
