My friend just got work at this gas station he put 12 hrs in @ $8xhr they pay every week and on payday they paid him with a personal business check with a dudes name and the name of another business below it which the manager offered to cash instantly at the gas station and ontop of that out of 96 dollars they took 16.50 off his check and said it was for taxes and when he asked where’s my paystub slip they said they have it over there or something of the sort. is that legal, cause I highly doubt it is. what should he do? should he sue call the police quit or what? he never even filled out a w4 until he asked to see the paystub off his check on his first payday, then they made him fill out one. how can they say they took taxes out if they didnt even tell him to fill out a w4 before he started work! so in essence he never claimed 1 on fed and one on state in order to get taxes taken out etc… i seriously think they robbin him just paying him by check out of a business pay out account an
…and its not only him working there he just started like 3 days ago they’ve got 3 other employee’s there that been working there for god knows how long and they been raping their pay as well telling them the same story and they don’t complain or know cause their illiterate indigent people in and from a bad part of town

I’ve heard capital one won’t delete this charge but if I call credit inform (866-226-3745) will they stop their service so I don’t have to pay for it in the future, or am I stuck with this payment every month? I hate capital one but I don’t want to cancel my card because I heard it reflects poorly on your credit score.

I have been married a month now. We bought our 1st home (a 2 bd/1ba fixer-upper which btw turned out adorable) about 2 months before we got married.
