Also, there is absolutely zero guarantee that you will receive a check. What would you do if it got lost in the mail and you have to wait months to get another one. The IRS is not known for being on time or accomodating. I found out that the IRS won't even allow their checks or documents to be forwarded by the postal service and therefore my check was going to be "sent back" unless I formally filled out a form to have my address changed ( I moved in between filing my return and the stimulus being given out) I wouldn't risk it.
