Any company you apply for that asks for money up front is a SCAM. They will call it “insurance” or a “good faith” payment. If you send this money(usually by Western Union) the only thing that is guaranteed is that you will not get the loan and you will never see the money that they “promised” you. This is known as an “Advanced Loan Fee” Scam and they just wait for people who are desparate to scam. Don’t be surprised if you get 6-7 of these “offers” in answer to this question.

As to your loans see what you can prioritize. Do you really “need” furniture in 10 hours? It may be uncomfortable for a couple days but head down to your local discount store and pick up a few sleeping bags and some plastic lawn furniture for a few bucks. For the braces talk to the orthodontist and explain the situation see if you can get arrangements made. The rent is probably the toughest one. If the landlord won’t work with you, talk to your local social services agency first thing in the morning.
